WEEK 1 REFLECTION

   WEEK 1 (8th October 2024)

The class began with the introduction of the Sustainable Development Goals which should be interpreted in real life by 2030. We also discovered all the keynotes in SDG that should be practice in our country as SDG is holistic. Prof. Dr. Suhaimi also brief us with the fundamental of International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) as an exposure how Rahmatan lil Alamin that has been IIUM vision and mission meet the requirement of SDG where it become a reason of the establishment Sejahtera Centre. The Sejahtera Centre vision and mission is to apply SDG in campus and create the impact from its initiatives. We also did the taaruf among our classmates and at the end of the session we understand that the SDG works in all fields. At the end of the class, we understand on how SDG works and how we can use it to interpret the perfection of Islam. Below was our photo class together that was taken by our beloved Prof.

  SITE VISIT TO IIUM GALLERY         For the week 3, Prof. Dr. Suhaimi commanded us to visit the IIUM Gallery. To be honest it was my first time being in the gallery even though I am already acknowledge the gallery location. It was a really great experience as I can feel the fundamental of the IIUM deeper. The task was to search for things inside the gallery that is related to Maqasid Syariah. So we have come out with three things.          The first one is fulfilling the hifz al-nafs. The first picture illustrates the challenges people faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, which had many negative effects, such as the loss of loved ones, economic hardship, and mental health struggles. WEEK 6 : KOED TOWARD ZERO HUNGER

 The Bachelor of Education Students' Association’s initiative to provide breakfast for students showcases a practical and compassionate approach to addressing hunger and supporting education. This act goes beyond feeding students; it acknowledges the critical link between proper nutrition and effective learning. Hunger significantly impairs students' ability to concentrate and succeed, and this initiative reinforces the responsibility of educators to address such barriers to ensure equitable education for all. This program teaches invaluable lessons for both current and future educators. Firstly, it highlights the importance of recognizing hunger as a factor that affects student well-being and academic performance. WEEK 5 : LIBRARY ATTACKKK!!!!

 We conducted a library attack during the fifth week of the semester, which involved examining the library's contents and contrasting them with sustainable values. SDG 4 is applicable to the first image. People of all ages and backgrounds may now access educational resources, support lifelong learning, and encourage literacy thanks to Darul Hikmah. SDG 10 might be used on the second image. By giving underprivileged communities free or inexpensive access to knowledge, digital resources, and secure learning environments, libraries contribute to the reduction of inequality. In the meanwhile, SDG 16 can be applied to the third image. By providing free access to information, libraries foster the development of knowledgeable and involved individuals who uphold justice, transparency, and active social involvement.
